Stefan Bendtsen has operated the small intimate Hotel Smedegaarden in Lem st. close to Ringkøbing Fjord since 1991. Stefan is in the kitchen every day, making delicious Danish food of high quality. The hotel has an ala carte restaurant and a small lounge, both with a very cozy atmosphere. In addition, the hotel has 10 rooms and a “family house” with room for 6 people.

The 10 rooms, are each with their own individual décor, 2 of the rooms with separate terraces. All rooms at the hotel are furnished with bath and toilet, TV and new beds. In addition the hotel has a “Family-house”, which was newly renovated in 2016. The “Family- House” contains 3 rooms and a shared bathroom and accommodates a total of 6 people. 

The hotel is located in a small town in Vestjylland, where there is plenty of fresh air and the opportunity to visit Ringkøbing Fjord and take a walk at the beach or experience the local attractions. The Staff is always ready to give you advice or guidance for local attractions.

In the summertime, you can enjoy the weather outside in the hotel garden. In addition there is a terrace outside the rooms with patio furniture, where you can enjoy the weather too.
